What you support when you support Poseidon

At Poseidon, we believe that building great humans is equally as important as building great swimmers. We believe strongly in the notion of a “Swim Family”. A family that works hard together, builds one another up, and takes time to celebrate life together with more than just swim. We are a team that swim’s together, enjoys fun activities together, laughs together, hikes together, and grows together . We are a team that pitches in to help one another through tough times with understanding, time and sometimes money.

Swimming is expensive. As members of Pacific Northwest Swimming (PNS), we compete with teams that come from areas with higher per capita income than Lewis County. The cost of swim for most clubs in PNS falls on the families, which limits the ability to compete with more affluent families. At Poseidon, we believe all kids deserve to have the opportunity to compete. Poseidon is able to keep our costs low by ensuring we can cover certain costs other teams charge their members for. We do this through Poseidon’s Non-Profit along with many generous volunteer hours.

Your contributions will support our Non-Profit and our on-going mission to offset the cost of swim for the kids that swim on our team. Your contributions help develop life long skills, friendships, provides opportunities, and changes lives.
